## Pick a buyer before picking products

A useful EMS product range begins with one customer and one buying situation. A studio buying sets for coached sessions needs a different offer from a distributor supplying individual customers or a fitness brand launching its own line. Start by deciding who will wear the product, who controls it and how it will be sold.

From there, choose a lead product that fits that situation and one companion with a clear reason to exist. For example, a studio could evaluate a full body garment alongside a lower body option for customers who want a different garment format. A retail brand could lead with shorts and consider a targeted belt as a second product. These are starting points for sampling.

A focused launch makes sizing, stock, instructions and after-sales support easier to manage. Expand after you know which requests customers make most often.

## Compare the 2011 garments by coverage

The 2011 line provides four garment formats for different areas of coverage. Each uses the 2011 controller and MBODY App, giving a brand a common system to discuss across its garment selection.

| Garment | Coverage | Electrodes | Garment channels |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Full body suit | Full body | 20 | 10 |
| Training top | Upper body | 18 | 9 |
| Shorts | Lower body | 10 | 5 |
| Long pants | Lower body, including calves | 12 | 6 |

The 2011 controller has 16 independent outputs, a separate specification from the garment channel counts in the table. Start with the coverage and fit your customer needs; match the garment to your intended coverage.

## Add a targeted product with a clear role

Beyond training garments, the range includes arm belts, abdominal belts, leg belts, EMS pads and a wide belt. These give buyers ways to organize an offer around a particular body area or format. For instance, a distributor could compare an abdominal belt with pads as two distinct offers: the choice depends on how the product is worn, which components are included and how the customer will understand the setup.

Use [belts](https://www.macroseatech.com/products/ems-belts/) and [pads](https://www.macroseatech.com/products/ems-pads/) to answer a specific customer request, rather than adding each category simply to make the catalog look larger. Give every product its own photograph, size or fit information, contents list and instructions. The 902S arm belts come as a pair and the 902Y is an abdominal belt; both use the wired 902 controller without an app. The 2105C model identifies a compact wireless controller shared across compatible pads and belt products, also without an app. The 902, 2105C and 2011 controller families are not interchangeable. Specify the controller and replacement parts for each set before proposing a combined offer.

## Choose the shorts experience

Shorts provide a useful example of how products covering a similar area can serve different customers. The 902K uses the wired 902 controller without an app. The 2105 shorts use the compact wireless 2105C controller without an app. Only the 2011 controller uses MBODY, including with the 2011 shorts. Each creates a different setup and support experience.

A brand whose customers prefer a physical handheld control may explore 902K. A brand seeking a compact standalone option can evaluate 2105. A connected product strategy points toward 2011, where the App becomes part of the customer journey. Sample the proposed option with your intended users and check movement, controls and care before making it the centerpiece of the range.

## Count variants before ordering

One product can become many stock lines. A shorts model offered in three sizes and two colors creates six size and color combinations; add a second shorts model with the same options and the total becomes 12. Each combination needs a stock plan, a clear label and a way for the warehouse to identify it. Retail barcode planning also follows product variants, as GS1 US explains.

Start with the sizes your audience needs and a restrained color selection. Estimate how many sets you expect to sell in each combination, not just a single total for the whole order. Plan space for sizes that sell more slowly and consider how replacement garments or controllers will be handled. Broader choice is valuable only when you can keep it available and explain it clearly.

## Sample the complete set

MacroSea offers paid samples of products in stock. Order representative samples of the garment, controller, accessories and packaging together. Have the people who will sell or use them walk through a normal session: opening the box, choosing a size, getting dressed, operating the controller and putting the set away. Test fit across the size range and compare notes on electrode contact and comfort during the movements you intend to support.

Build care into the test. MacroSea's general garment guidance is to remove the controller, then hand-wash the garment or use a laundry bag on a gentle machine cycle. Prepare care labels for your final garment and market; US consumer apparel has FTC care-label requirements. If the range is for a studio, also plan how many garments are needed while others are being cleaned.

For each item, document what is included in the box and how customers will request replacements. That information belongs in the sales listing as well as the support guide.

## Choose private label or a new design

Private label works well when an existing product already fits your offer. Supply a logo, review the branded mockup and agree the details for production, inspection and shipping. Discuss style, color, fabric and packaging choices with the team as part of the project.

For a different product concept, an ODM project moves through an idea or drawing, appearance and function design, a sample, customer testing and revision, then production against the approved sample. That route gives you more room to define the product and also requires more decisions before production.

MBODY has no membership feature. A dedicated app can include a custom interface and membership functions. Discuss custom development fees with sales. The custom App project starts at 100 garment and controller sets; product minimums for other orders are discussed by model and project. Decide whether the connected experience is central to your first launch or belongs in a later phase.

## Write a first range brief

- Identify the customer, sales channel, destination markets and intended use.
- Choose a lead product and the reason for each companion product.
- List models, control method, sizes, colors and estimated quantities by variant.
- Describe the brand elements, packaging, instructions and App requirements.
- Request samples, an itemized quote, model-specific order terms and a proposed timeline.
- Agree how fit, care, controller compatibility and replacements will be reviewed.
